In my current game My leader's campaign promise, platform er whatever is increasing the amount of alloys per month, it says i need +12 per month, i'm making +13 per month, and yet by looking at my event log it says i still didn't complete that promise. whats the deal?

In another game my promise was to construct 2 new civilian sectors where people live and all that, i did this, i built 2 new sectors and when my leaders term was up it said that he was reelected but with his campaign promise unfulfilled. ... What?

I think for the alloys per month one you have to actually have that income at the end of the term. Otherwise you could set up a monthly trade for one month and get your unity. Although I think you can do that if you do it for the last month of the term anyway.

As to the other thing - pretty sure it's bugged.

As an aside - democracy, even if it worked properly, seems pretty weak to me. Best case scenario it's a 5% unity buff. Agendas seem stronger to me. I view it as a downside to running Shared Burdens which is excellent.

Egalitarian is not that bad with faction influence and edict build. As for mandates, yes it's very weak. Maximum of 1,000 unity reward doesn't do anything in mid to late game, while agendas give life-term of modifiers. I kind of wished the reward cap would scale with the total monthly income of unity or at least the number of leadership-eligible Pops.

Well the Egalitarian Faction combined with F-Egal bonus to faction influence should be pretty strong. But the Egalitarian faction tends to bug out as well and refuse to give max influence because they don't recognise Free Movement as being fulfilled under certain circumstances where they really should.

Hm, what are the odds of the devs fixing this bug?

Pretty good if you're patient. They're still well in the post-release support for 2.2/Megacorp phase which they've said will be extensive. That's good because there's a lot to fix. But it might be a while before this particular bug is fixed firstly because they are on holidays until mid Jan, and secondly because I suspect it's not super high priority given some of the other problems at the moment. It could easily be a month or more before a fix for this makes it into the likely rolling beta and longer until it goes live.

Are you saying this is inaccurate, and is not really counted?
Or you mean certain circumstances like when you go all Synth?

You appear to be getting full influence there. I'm talking about situations like having Droids but with AI rights set to full, and then you not only can't resettle Driods anymore (which you should be able to) but also fail the Free Movement demand. I just can't get my Egal faction past 55% approval. That's not as bad as it would have been in 2.1, but still bad.
