How to change game language?

I'm in Germany and I bought the game through Amazon and I received it in German which I don't understand at all. Can I switch to English?

I don't know why you posted in that other thread, it bore no relation to your question at all. I've split you off into your own fresh thread.

Simply edit settings.txt in your ROME directory with Windows Notepad, and change l_german to l_english .
