How to change characters' hair in the savegame?

I hate the Ruler Designer. Well, I love it, but it has some annoying features that mess up everything. I was playing an awesome game when I found out that my custom character, with carefully chosen features, had become bald by virtue of wearing a chainmail in war.

It's a known bug. PLEASE, FIX IT.

In the meantime, how can I fix this by manually editing the savegame?

For those who are interested, I did some research on the forum and I found the answer. One should change the second letter in the properties sequence in the savegame, using the alphabet letter numbered in the (alphabet order) with the same number as the hairstile choice in the DLC. For example, style 4 is letter d. The zero is the bald style, it seems.

But MAN, these bugs should not be overlooked when patching.
