So you are experiencing some technical issues?

Please keep the following in mind before posting in this forum. Reducing non-constructive posts in this forum is for everyone's best as it will help us identify real problems faster and it will be easier for us and other users to easier help you resolve any issues you may have.

1. Before doing anything else. If your problem is a serious problem there is a good chance someone already made a post about it and perhaps a solution has been presented already so search the forums!

2. If you can not find any previous report of your issue:
- Does your computer meet the system requirements?
- Are your computer's drivers up to date? (check the manufacturers website to see if any updates are available)
- Gameplay problems ("How do I build? How do I make my passengers happy? etc") are not considered technical issues and should be posted in the normal Cities: Skylines forums.

3. When posting your issue/bug, make sure to provide as much information as possible.
- Did you receive any error messages?
- Provide the log file as it is after the crash/error occurred so no restarting of the game in between (see instructions below)
- Provide a dxdiag log if you are on Windows (see instructions below)
- What were you doing/trying to do when the problem appeared?
- If it is a game bug: can you re-create the issue, and if so, how?
- Sometimes you may even get a crash log which you can copy and paste into your post (see below for further instructions on how to retrieve one)?

Please behave and be informative. General whining threads without purpose to actually find a solution to the problem doesn't help anyone. Standard forum rules does apply and can be found explained here if you have not read them before.

If you have Windows, do like this:

* Click on your "Start" button.
* Write dxdiag in the search field.
* A box called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should open.
* At the bottom of this window, you will find a button called "Save
All Information".
* Click this button.
* A box will pop up prompting you to save a file called "dxdiag.txt"
* Save this file to your "Desktop".
* Now you should see a text file called "dxdiag.txt" sitting on your
Windows desktop.

How to retrieve the Log file:
* On Windows, the log file is found in the Steam game install folder under Cities_Data/output_log.txt (to open the game install folder, right click your game in the Steam library, select Properties, go to the Local Files tab and select Browse local files)
* On Linux, the log is found at ~/.config/unity3d/Colossal Order/Cities: Skylines/Player.log
* On OSX, the log is found at ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

How to retrieve a crash report:
The crash logs are available in your Steam installation folder\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines in dated sub-folder. If a crash log is generated, the game will display a message suggesting to send that log to the developers. If you do not get that message, there is no crash logs to be found so skip this step.

Please do not copy/paste the contents of log files into a post, as they are pretty much unreadable in that form. Just attach them to your post as a .txt or .log file.

Please direct all issues regarding Stellaris to this subforum. Please direct all bugs regarding Hearts of Iron IV to this subforum.

If it says you do not have access, please correctly sync your steam account following the instructions in this thread. Effects might not be instantaneous, so you might have to log off and log back on.

If you still do not have access, file a support ticket - but DO NOT POST HERE.

Thank you.
