How to become Revolutionary Russia?

Hi,

I'm playing my first Russia game, it is currently September 1710. I'm trying to fulfill this "Russian Revolution" mission on tree and honestly didn't become revolutinary before at any country.

Center of Revolution popped up at Portugal and spreading from Lisboa to my neighbour Sweeden's three provinces like this;



If I occupied this Sweeden's provinces and get them all to make core, the revolution would still continue to spread to other provinces?

Some guides on internet says that wait until 1750 and there is gonna appear Revolution disaster, get -2 stability, get 25 loans and wait until disaster progress completed. But I think that this case is different for Russia.

I'm confused with this. On tree, there is a "Weather the troubles" mission and it says "Complete the Time of Troubles diaster or reach the Age of Absolutism without triggering it". So I didn't trigger the disaster, waited until Age of Absolutism and done the mission. But now to trigger time of troubles, it requires Age of Reformation as follows:



So how I can achieve "Russian Revolution" mission? And could I be still revolutionary or it is too late for that? If I can be what should I do from now on?

You can trigger disaster if 50% of your provinces get converted. Alternatively you can declare on nation that is revolutionary target wit crush revolution cb and offer up a peace deal to convert to revolutionary aswell.

Best idea was to groom a nation to spawn revolution centernext to you.. too late for that now. I think you need ro wait for either 50% of provinces to convert or declare on revolutionary target as said above.

So I think it means that revolution will spread to me after Sweeden has compeleted. It will take a long time to spread to half of my provinces. so sad mate.

Another question for you, let's say I started rerun for Russia.. Should I trigger time of troubles before age of absolutism? And if I trigger what should I do with the rebels. Those rebels convert me to revolutionary?

So sorry, I'm so noob about this mechanics.

You actually don't want to go revolutionary as Russia. You will not get the +5% AdmEff, instead you will only get a 6/6/6 ruler.

Declare on a neighbouring nation. Let it get loads of loans. Bankrupt even better. Take 100% land and money while bankrupt. Peace out. Target nation needs low stab and prestige, high loans and high revanchism. Then pray it happens.

You need to find a book called the Communist Manifesto. Then you need to be at war with Germany. Once at war with Germany they will take the decision sneak Lenin into Russia. From there it should pretty much happen.

You only need 20%, not 50.

Revolution has spread to my country and revolutionary revolts popped up. If I don't mistaken, like @Big Bad France said, spread was around 20%. Firstly, just before becoming revolutionary, an event occured that made me Republic. I mean not Revolutionary Republic, it was Parliamentary System (I don't quite understand that). After rebels won, 'Revolution in Russia' event popped up.

I took some screenshots about the process, but still couln't achieve "Russian Revolution" on mission tree. (So sad about that). The screenshots in order like this:

There was an event "Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite" which I embraced it and gave me +8.00 national unrest. On the other hand, the spread still continue.



After nearly 20 years, Revolt has succeeded. As you see here I'm Repuclic and I didn't make it with government reforms. It was an event that I forgot to take screenshot.



And after this notification, Revolution in Russia



I don't truely understand what the pros and cons of this Revolution thing.. But the moral of army was super insane

You can achieve the mission without going revolutionary. Declare war on the revolution target, and besiege their capital. This was easy in my game because Portugal had no fleet (it had been destroyed in a war with Spain) and Spain controlled all of their territory on the continent so their capital was in Madeira.

For achieving it by being revolutionary, I think you have to be the first country to go revolutionary.

How can I achieve it without going revolutionary. It says that "enact Revolutinary Empire or Republic". And these red hats(revolutinary ideals) should be removed from all over the provinces.



Yeah probably I should be the first country to achieve that. People become revolutinory around 1550 more or less with East Slavic culture countries. This run consumed me, so next time I'll try it.

that was good.

This centers come out randomly I guess. I don't know absolutism is a crucial factor to be center of revolution but, I had the highest absolutism all over the world 115/115 max.

I don't have any hope at all to achieve Russian Revolution mission on tree. But I just did it, all I need was to siege capital of a revolutionary country and that was Spain. After siege, mission tree header popped up.



But there is misdirection here, there is no green thick on the left side of a fulfilled article. If that thick would appear, I would know that all I need to siege a revolutionary capital. Interesting. Anyway what's done is done. This one completed too..
