How to apply 1.3 patch on a Mac?

I know there's a mac forum for HOI 2, but I can't remember where it is.

Anyway, does anyone know how to properly apply the 1.3 patch to a mac version of Hoi 2 arma? After downloading it, the files appear from the .rar but there's a .exe version of HOI 2.

Their forum should be connected to their website http://www.vpltd.com/. Although last time I was over their it seemed to be disorganized and unfrequented.

Last I heard Virtual Programing does not port betas. 1.3 is a beta. Where did you find a 1.3 for Mac?

There isn't 1.3 for mac.

Oh -- I didn't find a specific mac 1.3. I thought I could make it work somehow, though.

Maybe I should just copy all of the files individually to replace the existing files?

Of course you can copy events and such and it'll probably work, but you can't extract the exe. So no code changes etc.

And most of the non-exe changes (at least those that don't depend on the exe changes) are probably already in the CDCP mod: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=313755
Probably safer than trying to use the 1.3 text files without the .exe .

The 1.3 Beta patch is NOT Mac compatible.

Do not apply this patch to a Mac installation.

This raises a question: will the final 1.3 patch be ported for Mac by Virtual Programming as the Paradox-created patches are? Or does the patch team have the ability to do a Mac port? I hope the Mac users will be able to get the final patch.

Paradox owns the intellectual rights for the game and as such it is up to Paradox to decide to port this patch to the MAC version of the game.

And no we do not have access to the MAC source code of the game nor is there an interest on the part of the HOI2 Arma Patch project to acquire such code.
