Hi everyone, I simply cannot figure out how to add Point Defense to my ship. According to the Wiki, it should be possible to add it to Destroyers but there is no P slot! Now that I think about it, I have never been able to add it to any ship in previous versions. What am I missing? o0

If you've researched a point defense weapon you should be able to swap out one of the destroyer sections for one with P slots in the ship designer. IIRC it's the Picket Bow/Stern sections that have P slots. They won't be available if you don't have the tech though.

Huh, after all this time I never even realized that you could click on the sections to change them. Huh. I was so confused because all I could see were 1 L and 2 S slots. Thanks!

If you don't know how to swap out sections, you do it by clicking on the name of the section near the top of the display 'artillery bow' or whatever.
