With the new beta patch the dynasties text file lacks the provinces info. Before(and I rememeber it good) it had below the name and the id of the dynasyt also the provinces in which it will appear....now with the beta it is gone?!?!

Also how to add a new character. I would like to add a new character(a wife more correctly) to Petar Kresimir, King of Croatia. She would also have to be the mother of Petar Kresimir's only child, the daughter Nada.
There is no data about his wife but I am sure he had one, so personally it wouldn't be much unhistorical if we would add him a wife about 35-40 years and so disable him from being eligable for marriage at the start of 1066 scenario which is highly unhistorically.

Thanks.

Huh? The start of my file looks like this:
Code:
dynasty = {
	id = { type = 12 id = 1 }
	name = ""
	province = { }
}
dynasty = {
	id = { type = 12 id = 2 }
	name = "Orsini"
	[b]province = { 329 331 333 350 }[/b]
}
dynasty = {
	id = { type = 12 id = 3 }
	name = "de Villeneuve"
	[b]province = { 111 112 }[/b]
}

Yes thats how it looked as well in my file but with the new beta patch I have it like this ->

Code:
dynasty = {
	id = { type = 12 id = 1 }
	name = ""
}
dynasty = {
	id = { type = 12 id = 2 }
	name = "Orsini"
}
dynasty = {
	id = { type = 12 id = 3 }
	name = "de Villeneuve"

There is no province line at all....I don't know how the game determines which dnasty goes to which province?!?!?! :confused:

Thanks. ;)

Btw. I didn't get the answer how to add a new dynasty? For example I want to add a "Gotschalkovic" dynasty? How do I do it? Do I need to find a free dynasty tag or I can add my own?

It is fun to just ad your own family.

I haved ad mine, not as a ruling dynastie, but they will pop up as random courtiers in some dutch counties.

When I have a daughter to spare I always look if I can marry here to one with my familyname. That way I have been able to make some of them dukes and one even became pope :) Without much interference by me.

hehe, I done that once with mine a while back. Placed it into Germany (Saxony) didnt look right though (what is the german for 'Fowler' anybody know?) as a German king Henry (Heinrich) I the Fowler had it.

P.S. I know Fowler is an English name now (cant be helped) but it originated from the Saxons (yes I know that isnt Saxony).

How about also adding a nickname to Adalbert, brother of Rudolf von Rheinfelden.
I think Adalbert 'der Kuglof' would be fine? What do you think? :rofl:
