The same way I made the Tectonic Knights pagan in my AAR: You need revolutionary rebels from a buddhist province to break your country. This can be achived by letting rebels occupy your capital for awhile. In my experience, the revolutionary rebels don't have to be the one to take your capital, as long as they are around when you get broken, it should work. However, moving your capital will help the process. I recommend taking a buddhist province, moving you capital there, spawning some revolutionaries using an event, let them break your country, and then moving your capital back to Sweden, if you want to.

Well that's one problem solved, but I need to know the best route to conquer Buddhist provinces mainly avoiding Ming if possible. Though I don't think Ming will intervene in my Quest for Enlightenment, though Ming has tendency to protect south eastern nations or conquer them. Also, I need to secure myself a spot in Europe also. So yeah, lot of work to be done if I want to reach Nirvana.

Try attacking a nation in Southeast Asia. I believe there are some Buddhist provinces down there.

It depends, really. It should tell you if Ming is going to join in on the screen where you declare war. If Ming is defender of the faith, it might misunderstand your attack as a threat rather than a quest for enlightenment. ;) You might try attacking a non-Buddhist nation that rules a Buddhist province.

I had completely forgotten that Ming was a Confucius nation. So China wasn't an issue after all!!! Now's the time to put a foundation on Europe so that I can journey to the mysterious Asian lands. Buddhism shall rule the world! Christianity be warned!!!
