Hi,

so I conquered couple planets and some of them aren't great (size <13). They are packed with xenos and robots. How can I purge xenos from specific planets and how can I destroy robots on them? I can't resettle any of them cos I don't have empty worlds. AFAIK the only way to do something about this is to set xeno rights for purging. But I don't want to do that cos I need them as slaves on some of the bigger planets I have. Also I can't purge/disassemble robots at all (they have no rights, button disabled).
Please help.

You can either displace them or purge them. Displacement is the lesser of the 2 evils.

Set your policy (under policies) to allow purging/displacement.
Then go to species and set the rights of the species you do not want to be able to be displaced and/or purged.

However depending on your governing ethics, some of these could be disabled. You could also just give the planet away to another empire.

I did have the problem of having slave robots when I won a planet, even though I do not have slavery. I never worked that one out. I just outlawed robots which dismantled them all in my empire. After 10 years I re-eneabled them.

if you dont mind abit of console. use the console commands to change one of your worlds to size 25. then move the guys from this planet to bigger one and buys from the bigger one to the 13. Then change the size of the bigger one back to its orginal size. no harm not cheat
Really when resettling you should be able to swap two pops.

There is no direct way to abandon a planet.

The closest I got in 1.4:
Move everyone but one T1 or T2 Robot of the Planet. Purge the Robot.

So it's impossible to abandon it without consoles or without crippling other worlds...
Lack of freedom is what irritates me the most with this game. You can't purge certain planets, you can't disassemble certain robots, you can't blow up planets, you can't you can't you can't... It's my experience with this game.

My issue is the lack of immersion in the game - the invisible walls in the space and the warscore system.

i actually dont mind sectors and missiles and the other things people complain about and i do like the engine they have built and the total conversion mods are only going to get better and bigger.

my new favorite method still works.
1.selects planets you wanna cleanse.
2.put them in a sector
3.release as a separate empire
3.1.wait
4.declare war
5.bombard on limited\full til they are clean
(as a bonus: less penalty then for genocide. and you can do it almost as everyone)

Pre Utopia I was purging unwanted planets because I didn't mind to piss off all other empires. But your method sounds great if I will decide to play as a good guy someday (unlikely :D). And it's probably the only reasonable method now...
Just one question, if I will release those planets, won't they get allies till I will be able to declare war on them? And do you have to be a militarist to be able to wipe all pops on the planet?

p.s.: ridiculous how people have to look for a work-around to be able to get rid of unwanted planets. GJ devs!

i had 2 situations: fist they wanted to be separate. and then there were no truce between us. and i could attack immediately
2nd situation when they were separated as a vassals. then i had to wait a bit.

also don't forget that is a great source of militarist attraction.

Ah - another one for you. if you find a fanatical purger who is far away from you declare war. they will look for liberation not conquest. Surrender (giving them 1 of your worlds) you might have to fight the war until you are in positive war score then offer the surrender of 1 system and they will accept

Your new planet will be a friendly same species purger and once you vasalise then when declaring war you can allocate them any world you want cleansed and they get the neg diplomacy you dont and they do the hard work but then again purging has gotten easier in 1.5

well you have to conquer to win the game. and sometimes you don't know if the planet will be useful to you, so choosing cleanse is also a bad option

There's no other option. Either you take the planet or liberate it. If you liberate it - you get no advantage and you are at the same if not worse position than before the war. So you must take it. I wouldn't mind those small worlds but they hurt your research speed too much.
