Actually that is already possible if you have Waking the Tiger DLC, if you restore the Kaiserreich and go down with the Wilhelminist path.

i know that, what i'm trying to say is, it would be cool if once germany actully assassinate mussolini and stuff, italy automatically go for their monarchist path, would be so cool and it would concatenate so well <3

I have a current game playing Italy in the mod Forza Italia!. I do not know how realistic it is, since I do not know much of the innerworkings of WW2 Italy, but it is fun.
