28. Played HOI back in 2002. Fell in love with Paradox and ventured off into Vicky, EU, and CK. HOI2 at launch, HOI3 at launch. Love them all.

51, starting playing games at 15 with Gettysburg from Avalon Hill ( board game, pre technology). Also was a SPI subscriber for about two years.
56 years old. I've been playing war games in their various forms since the mid-60's. I started on the AH classics Blitzkreig, Battle of the Bulge, Midway and later Squad Leader. First computer was a Radio Shack, then C64, and now I'm on my 4th or 5th PC...this one like myself is getting long in the tooth so I may be upgrading soon, DCS's A-10 Warthog and KA-50 are running a little slow.

My first gaming console was Intelevision back in the early 80's.I still have the original system and it works!Only half of the games cartridges do though.But B-17 Bomber,the first talking game for the system works!!

Been playing hoi2+3 for just over a year now. Dunno what game I first ever played, probably CoD1 at my uncles house, then I stuck with FPS games for a few more years, then went onto strategy, started with travian lol.

Started playing Axis & Allies about age 10. Never stopped playing similar games.
Had about every game console since Atari. PC's have been in my live since about age 12.
Been playing HOI 3 since SF and I am hooked.
As stated before, I have at least 30 something years to enjoy these sort of games.

54 years old. Started playing AH Bismark with my dad ages ago. Played many, many AH and SPI games over the years, email Diplomacy. In college we actually completed a 4 player SPI War in the East. My favorite board games are probably The Gamers Civil War Brigade series.
I play Harpoon 3 on the computer, and also am in a couple of online leagues of Out of the Park Baseball (for something different!). Just got HOI3+ Semper Fi, never played them before, but looking forward to it (just joined the forum too).

42 yrs old HOI 1, um before HOI 2 came out, HOI 2??? dang Alzheimer.....but many years, HOI3 Since the day it was released.

I'm 34. Started to play HOI3 last year. I've been looking for the perfect strategy game since I started to play computer games in the 90s. This is still not it, but probably the closest thing to it.
42. Briefly flirted with the original. Now I am looking forward to picking up where I left off.
48 here. Been playing wargames since I was about 10. Lots and lots of them with counters and large maps. Games like, Third Reich, most SSI, Avalon Hill titles. Got hooked on computer games at about 16, after I bought my 4th computer (Apple II+). Before the apple there were few good non-text based games. I try to replace my computer every 2-3 years since, and I had over 20 different computers. I am into strategy and sim games mostly as I like to think about what I am playing, hate FPSs. I own almost all the PI games and all the HOI based games, infact I have multiple copies of most of them. Most of them are such good games that I feel PI deserves the extra bucks.

Perhaps I can be different by having had friends and relative who were in the thick of WW1 rather than WW2 (all gone now of course). I even knew a two weeker (fighter pilot 1917) - and no he didn't talk about it.
Still get annoyed when someone sinks my Grandad in an AAR.

47. Is that pathetic ... ? ;-) Started playing board wargames in 1976 with an SPI Blue-Gray Quad game "Antietam". Graduated to Squad Leader, Third Reich, etc. Still going strong.
