How old are HOI3 players?

17 years old, fell in love with paradox games when i tried Victoria 1 at a friends place. After that i've only played these kinds of games and some shooters/sports on my ps3.

God, I miss those days! I still have my "baggie" games from the old COMMAND magazine. Sigh...

I will actually start a Eastern Front session (GMT) this Autumn, with the Crimea and Rostov, Charkov, etc area covered. I rent in a cellar for it, covering a pretty large table. I got the whole series, someday I migh to the whole Barbarossa at once. That will demand more than one billard tablet though. (age 41, already accounted for in this thread).

I'm 26, 27 on November the 26th. Started with good ol' Risk at 12, first computer wargare was Tark Commander on dad's Atari ( first videogame ever was Indiana Jones and the last Crusade). Started D&D 12 years ago (been DM for 11 years now). Developed first war-board game2 years ago and been playing HoI2 for 5 years and HoI3 Since day 1 and loved it.

I'm 35. Started WW2 games with Axis & Allies. Moved to the paper/cardboard games at some point in my high school days. EU2 was my first Paradox game, then EU3, then this. In typical American fashion, I have learned about 97% of my world history & geography, either directly or tangentially, from playing Axis & Allies, EU3, and HOI3.

I am 16. Played HOI 1 for a year until HOI3 came out. Been playing HOI3 since it came out with a friend of mine (Also 16). Dad got me started in HOI so he wouldn't have to play Axis & Allies (Board game not computer) with me since I always won.

Old enough to not announce my age on a (more or less) public forum.
But like a few others my earliest strategy games were die cut cardboard counters on folding card-stock (or cardboard backed laminate) maps.

Does anybody know, if a girl/woman is playing HOI3?
If yes, my ideology about woman would be increased in positive way, but til now I never heared about one.
