A fun little challenge I thought up was to see how many princes I can get in the HRE by December 1st, 1594. Since the starting cores expire on 11/11/1594, December 1st seemed like a good end date. I was able to get some of the harder nations to join (Epirus, Naxos, and Sibir for example), but I got unlucky with a few other nations and couldn't get them (Normandy, Athens, and Verona). I don't have an exact count, but I think if you get RNG to go your way and play perfectly, my guess is that the highest a player could get would be 225-230 by that date. In my game, I could have beaten down the bigger powers more so I could have forced them to join. I also made some other mistakes. Has anybody else tried to do a something similar and how well did they do? This was a very fun challenge, and I would recommend giving it a try. Let me know how you do.

Is there a special method you applied to get so many? Haven't played eu4 in some time, but this looks fun :)
Looks like a combination of force release, conquer convert add release and Expand Empire CB.

I tried it a few times but with no date limit. Easiest way I found was just to conquer everything, add to HRE, revoke as fast as possible, and then release a bunch of OPM nations in HRE provinces (using the return core button in the province tab) in the year they lose their core. A cost of -10 prestige is easily overcome if you spread it out. If they make the change to where you can create client states earlier, you could do all of Europe. Since they can't go to war, OPM client states aren't in danger of being removed from the game (and client states don't retain cores for 150 years after they've been conquered).

Did you do the trick of forcing larger countries into the HRE by taking their capital, coring it, adding it to the empire, giving it back then taking their new capital?
I think this exploit got fixed
