How many people are actually booking time off work?

I scheduled a week of vacation the week starting May 16 and another the week HOI 4 is out.
My vacation is about capped out at work as it is. I plan to take the 9th (and probably 10th) off.
I just started a new job, so vacation is not really an option, unfortunately. 
But I would have seriously considered it otherwise...

I just got the news that a projekt at work has been moved to the 9th May, and I will be therefor 1 week outside the country

Yup, the whole week of the 9-13th. I actually have way too much vacation saved up at work (about 30 days worth), so I've got to burn through some of it. Stellaris is better than most for that!

I traditionally take that whole week off, as the first week after tax season. Unfortunately, I've been told in no uncertain terms that I won't be getting that week this year, but I can maybe have Monday the 9th if I ask.
Unfortunately, I've learned NOT to take release day itself off, so I'll probably just take a few extra days the next week (16-18th or so) instead.

I'm a business owner and I'm giving my employees the 9th and 10th off (paid) as well.

I am but in my defence it is also the week of my birthday which I planned to take off any ways. Just the universe itself aligning so I can play the game more.

I don't have the luxury of taking off work for video game launch (although my boss would surely get a kick out of the attempt). My first days off after release are the 12th and 13th. I probably won't leave the house those two days.

Luckily for me May 9th is conveniently located within the dead zone between the end of one semester, and the beginning of the next. Yay community college!
