If I am triggering different AI files how many options can I have in one event?
Is it limited to 4 or can I make the 4th a lead to fire another event? With another 4 options?

For example I want to have 7 sets of AI files for each major European country. The computer will need to pick one when a date trigger is crossed.

Each AI file has a trigger of its own, so the first date trigger then checks 7 other triggers which lead to one of the AI files being selected.

Is this possible?

Or do I have to have 7 events each with a trigger?

It's limited to 4 options. I tried this event:
Code:
event = {
	id = 1000000
	random = yes

	trigger = { }

	name = "AI_EVENT"
	desc = "AI_EVENT"
	style = 0

	action_a = {
		ai_chance = 20
		command = { }
	}
	action_b = {
		ai_chance = 20
		command = { }
	}
	action_c = {
		ai_chance = 20
		command = { }
	}
	action_d = {
		ai_chance = 20
		command = { }
	}
	action_e = {
		ai_chance = 20
		command = { }
	}
}
and it balked at "action_e".

I'd gladly answer, but I'm not sure what exactly you're asking. AI files with triggers? :confused:

You can always have an option for one event lead to another event with more options. The number of options for any one event, however, should be capped at 4. The EU2 event engine was designed to have one historical option and up to three ahistorical options, and Victoria uses the same engine.
