Is there a maximum limit of 10 models per unit type? I am trying to add new models and have been getting weird crashed whenever I select one of the higher model numbers in the production menu. Any help is appreciated.

can you "Skip" model numbers

I would like some models / brigades to NOT be upgradable, forcing you do disband/rebuild if you want new ones (similar to what you must do with naval units). so [A] can you skip numbers, like have 1.2.4.5.6.8, and will they stop upgrading, as in 2 will not jump to 4, and 6 will not jump to 8.

Issue I am concerned with is not just the upgrade, but will the system hang/crash when it hits this.

My understanding is that you have to actually define a "dummy" model for any position from 0 to 9 that you want to skip. It won't crash unless you go above position 9 in the range. You just need to avoid activating the dummy.

How do you not activate it? By not having a tech that activates the model.
