How many magnetic shields can you have?

I launched one like 200 sols ago and I havent got any mission yet to get another one. I have all techs researched, tons of resources and all terraforming at 100%. Shouldnt I have more missions to launch magnetic shield satellites?

Maybe my game bugged...
 
From what I know and have seen on YT. Some ppl got that Planetary Project up to 3 times.
But maybe it's unlimited and just the waiting time for that planetary project to spawn again is just too long. Something like every 50 or 100 Sols after you launch the first one.
OR it depends if you already got to 100% atmosphere and the Launch Magnetic Shield planetary project just stops spawing.
OR it also depends on doing other projects to trigger the spawning of this one.
I'm not really sure what can make this to spawn more often, but I am sure it can be dome more than once.

It spawns more, i have about 6 of them now.
They do depend on both the things you listed.
 
Technically, the mission will respawn until 100% atmosphere is reached.
But with actual configuration, almost anyone won't do that. It takes too much time. You need 40 magnetic shields missions to reach 0 atmosphere losses with high atmospheric values without magnetic generators.

I modded my game to make magnetic shields double powerful, also the missions respawn quickly up to three missions at the same time.
But it's a private mod that I never released (mixed with a lot of terraforming adjustment to my taste).

If you are interested in a mod like that, you can tell me and I could rebuild it and released in paradoxplaza.

Did you do that with lua code or just the normal moditem method? Could you share how you did that?

A lot of time has passed. Other people ask me this, so I finally isolated the code and created a simple mod.
You can check the code in the mod.

Search in paradox mod plaza a mod named "More MegaSatellites Missions".
