Just curious to see how well the preorder push worked. I thought it was a really good idea. Was it worthwhile?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
There have been threads about this and Paradox did not yet say anything about the numbers... a thumbs up or "its looking good" would be nice.....

It's looking good, however it's not a big business for us. We mainly look at this as a service for our members, being able to buy our games in places where they can't be found. Our experience with Victoria showed that some people couldn't buy it in their local shop.

Yeah it's nice to be without the Vicky problem. I waited 8 days from the official release date before I finally ordered it from Betafon (online). Vicky didn't arrive in local shops before 1+ month after release.
So as long as Paradox makes more than they loose on providing this service I'm happy...
