So I want to do an application, but I also want to be able to give the problem the time it deserves, and am currently busy with all sorts of other stuff at the moment.
1. When you say, "assume run by a multi-threaded environment", does that mean one should consider multi-threaded solutions, or do you mean the solution should keep thread safety and mutual exclusion in mind(which as far as I can thing shouldn't effect things, as the solution should not mutate any shared resources).
2. Usually when I see this kind of challenge, I assume a "quiz like environment", but often times that's not right. Are you object to looking up some methodology/research in order to complete the task?
I haven't had the chance to really look to hard/think too much about it, but answers to these questions could be helpful.
Thanks
