Possibly this subject is covered elsewhere in the forum, but I'm going to ask anyway. How do I find out how "war weary" I am? By going into the files somewhere? Or is the only way to tell by the increase in revolt percentages?

As a general rule, how long do you have to be at peace to recover from war weariness? Does peace have to last as long as the previous war, or can I have one month of peace then dive right back into the fray?

If you look at one of your provinces, and click on the church or whatever that big house is, you see your revoltrisk for that province, hover the pointer over that % and you will see what causes it, and somewhere it will say how much is caused by warweariness. AFAIK you only have to have one day of peace to reset warweariness, then you can go off to war completely fresh again!

Easiest way is to check the revolt risk breakdown.

Hover the pointer above the value and it will show a breakdown of the factors that affect revolt risk, WE being one of them.

If you check on a CB-covered province, your non-national provinces will have double that WE.

If you check on a non-CB-covered province your national provinces will have half that WE.

A single day of peace is enough to reset the counter that basically checks the date 'last at peace' that is in the save-game-file. Good for WC games. :)

[edit: D*mn :D At least I tole 'im about varying WE's ;))

WW or WE starts after 2 years at war. And can be influenced by the Centralization DP slider.
