From what i know, the capital province is more important because you get nation bonis from it for trade sureplus.
What i dont know is how much trade routes you get for inland provinces and how important are numerous harbors?
I am going to play as Rome and Chartage too, but i am most interrested into the greek world. By watching some streams crete and the peloponese seems quite fun. Whats interesting is that Arkadia (peloponese) has ~6 harbours, crete i think 4 with the island of its coast and syria, the captial province of Phrygia just one. So i was wondering if this makes a huge difference and if so how are inland capitals faring.
If someone could enlighten me would be nice.
Edit: what are very Trade(empire) friendly Provinces? I asume Chartage. And from the looks of it large islands and penisulas because of their harbor concentration? Or are produced goods more imported for trade than pure trade opportunities?
