I use one general peer unit just to get experience, and however i do it i found it not realistic.

I think that a Mj Gen. commanding one unit should gain normal experience but a Lt Gen only should get 1/3, a Gen should get 1/9 and a FM should get 1/12.

when commanding more units say a Gen commanding 9 units, he should gain experience at normal rate (faster than now), like a Mj general commanding one.

That way in a situation in which you would have 3 units, you would choose to select a Lt General for them, insted three, one peer unit, becuase that single good general would gain the same experience points as the sum of the three.

This aspect also coincides with reality, a FM should gain real experience commanding big numbers of units, not just one.

A FM commanding 12 units should gain experience much faster than now, since you will have really few, and using the techinque of dividing the armies in 12 generals should give them very little to each.

Good one Martin

Ya, I agree that the experience indeed should only accumulate at an appropriate rate dependant on the leader having under their command the set amount of Divisions. However I feel that they can still get their proper level of experience as long as there are a total number of divisions under them in the battle. For example. A Lt General with just one division under his direct command should not get the full gain in battle. however if there are also two other divisions, each with their own Major General in the attack then he should get his allotted experience. LIke wise with the HQ counter.

Very good observation there.
