How does this happen in the SCW?

My crackdown happens for my Anarchists... and nine of my units are in a province on the other side, completely cut off from any sort of supply, no orginazation... and essientally dead... which is pretty much GG.


Why does this happen STILL? This is a huge bug and it is a game-KILLER.

I'd understand if they were cut off where they were standing but it teleports units into these encirclements. Really needs fixing.

Do you own the province? It could just be shunting your units to the closest owned territory, which is right there. Also, it’s not GG just yet. Pull back to Catalonia if need be, but just from the units I can see it looks like you’ve got plenty of fight left in you.

I didn't have enough to cover the large border I have with the republican Spain. I just do not like how it teleports my units ACROSS the map and they are dead. It's just annoying.

The beating heart of the Iberian Anarchist movement lies in Catalonia. With it, International Brigades, and the ability to purchase foreign arms, victory is inevitable.
Also the mountains are really useful. Worst come to the worst, you wait until WWII starts and all the Nationalist volunteers leave.

While yes it can be done, it's annoying as hell that this still happens.

I rather have my civil war over in 1938/9 instead of waiting for WW2 and being unable to do anything from there on. You might as well just quit the game as soon as WW2 starts cause you will be able t o do nothing.

That was an extreme example, but Anarchist Spain can still achieve quite a lot during the war. My first game as them had me take on the Axis, Allies, and Comintern simultaneously and I managed to push all the way to Germany, Egypt, and French West Africa. Your ability to core states is an absolute godsend and creates the strongest snowball in the game.

That was an extreme example, but Anarchist Spain can still achieve quite a lot during the war. My first game as them had me take on the Axis, Allies, and Comintern simultaneously and I managed to push all the way to Germany, Egypt, and French West Africa. Your ability to core states is an absolute godsend and creates the strongest snowball in the game.

Well of course, but not when you're first starting out. You need at least 2-3 years to start a good buildup as Anarchist spain before you can start snowballing. ((Need equipment, manpower, armies)) which doesn't come for at least a year maybe two. Depending on when you end the civil war, france could already be dead before you're ready to get going. Going against the Axis when Germany has SU and France already secured is a bit of wishful thinking.


Since you more than likely wont have enough tanks and anti tank guns to supply the lines. Im aware that Anarchist spain can snowball, its just you need to end that Civil War as early as possible.

I don't know enough about how it works to offer a solution, but that's where the problem lies, I'd think.

Problem is, that would force you to give up land then if they remove the teleport_Armies. So before the focus goes off, you retreat all of the republican spain units back to your corner. They need to just teleport_armies to the corner of the map where you are supposed to spawn instead of putting you in a single tile where there is a good 40% of your army in there.

I didn't see if you were going for an achievement. If not, this is a clear case where it is justified to use the console command to teleport units. Best to check the Wiki, but open the console (~ key), type in "teleport" (without the quotes). When you select your units (left mouse button), your move command (right mouse button) will immediately move them to the destination. Don't forget to turn it off!
