Hello there.

Okay – I got a question which I think a lot of you might have to.
As playing IC with any nation but the US, is it almost only a matter of time, before you will run low on resources, especially energy, and oil.
But how can you solve this problem?
Provence X got 3 factories, and it produces 3 metals, 5 energy, 2 oil, and 1 rare. Is it possible to increase these numbers?
What can I do, or build in order to secure more resources? except from conquering more land?

Regards Gornak

Depends on which HOI game you are playing. In IC+AoD you have the possibility to build infrastructure to enhance ressource production.
All games (HOI,AOD,DH) have in common that +IC efficiency technologies also enhance resource production (at least I think they are responsible for this).

However this might not be enough, depending on which country you are playing. In this case you have to sell supplies for resources, or conquer new territory.

its all in the best interest of the game as well as real life equivalence between available resources to fuel the war industry and real available resources. to give you an example, the japanese mainland, korea and manchukuo do not have enough resources to fully power up the japanese industry indefinitely, they only have enough to power roughly 2/3 of their total starting industry.

the only choices are conquest (or buying territory), trade, or building infrastructure to improve the overall yield of resources.

Did not know that. Interesting. I wondered why my resource production as the US would increase so much when I went to war. I thought it was just a hidden mechanic that increased it over time or from events or something.

This is happening due to the peacetime/wartime effect
