Hey, I just noticed that apparently before my previous Duke died, his son (a count) had his share of affairs with other women. Sadly, all of my legitimate children are all daughters; and the only son I have is a bastard through one of those nights he spent with a courtier. Now, I know one can arrange matrilinear marriages and all to keep lands in and all that. However, I'd much rather bring son into power for various reasons.
What do I, as a player, have to do in order to get a decision to legitimise a bastard? And also, for references' sake, should I have a bastard daughter, is the process any different for whatever reason that might be?
