how do you take over a country or territory help plz !!!

ok i chose munster and i am trying to take over leinster here is what i did

declear war
march troops over
won the battle
seige city
won the seige

then i don't know why the city its still not mine and that country just keep asking me for peace ofcourse i rejected everytime !!!! then it just keep asking me for peace !!

so how do i take over?? help plz

You offer peace to them. Then if you control all its territories, or if you have enough war score, you should be able to annex them, take their territories, or vasalize them.

I say Annex them.

You can only annex them if they're already down to one province, though. The only multi-province countries that you can annex are the pagans.

You offer peace by going to the diplomacy options and clicking the sue for peace button. Then click the appropriate button on the menu that pops up.

You need to sue for peace. If its a 1 province nation like Leinster you can Annex the whole country - otherwise you'll have to settle for some of their territory and whittle them down to 1 province over a series of wars....

Ater controlling the province (which is where you currently are at), you then have to make them an offer.

Click on the province of leinster. You will see a list of options in the left side of the province screen. One of them should be 'Offer peace' (or something similar). Click on that and a box screen will open up, with 'annex' 'demand tribute' 'white peace' and 'offer tribute' (or simiilar) - you should have your war score percentage at the top as well.

To annex (which you can only do to a 1 province country or a pagan nation), press the annex button. After a day Leinster should accept, and the province will be yours.

the problem is it won't let me annex it only let me offer peace... why?

How many provinces does Leinster own? Remember, provinces that you have captured in war aren't owned by you until the war is formally over and you have taken them.

And annexation is a type of peace offer. You need to click the "sue for peace" or "offer peace" (or something like that) button, and then click annex on the menu that comes up.

If you don't plan on continuously waging war against a certain nation, only to bring them down to 1 province, you should think about vasalizing it. Vasalizing through a peace offer is referred to as "force vasalizing" (FV). Annexing through a peace offer is called "force annexing" (FA).

Annexing or receiving provinces through war will also raise your Badboy (BB), which will eventually lead to the famous BB-Wars: your neighbors will consider you a warmongering and dangerous nation that will eventually attack them as well. So they will declare war on you preemptively. The amount of BB depends on the number of provinces.

Vasalizing has the advantage of giving you fewer BB and you can also try to diplo-annex (DA) the nation later. Just make shure to keep good relations, lest they will declare independence. DA will also give you BB, but not as much as FA for the same number of provinces.
