For a replayable quest you can try this user created map http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=441508 It's only one quest but I think he did a great job adding some random elements to it. Regarding gambling halls in Majesty 1, did anybody actually let their heroes use them? I always placed a 100g flag on the gambling hall and elven lounge as soon as they popped up so my rogues would destroy them.

They did serve a purpose. There are quests one might not want their heroes exploring until they were ready. They also acted as an extra buffer between invading monsters and the palace. I rarely destroyed them unless they were in the way of something I needed to build.

Ditto. Most heros went to them if they were low-level and/or had nothing else to do, I noticed. So I kept my heros busy (or they did themselves, defending the guild/realm/whatever :) ). Only when my town stablized and I needed the space 'cause I was already surrounding it did I start to destroy them.

Got your PM, BTW... I do remember Tiger and housefish; the latter pops up on Heroes of Ardania occasionally.

Well, if heroes lack money they also don't visit gambling halls (don't recall cost) or the Elven Lounge (costs 100 gold). I generally whack them too with a flag, however that doesn't work with statues or a royal garden.

Statues could be destroyed, flags placed and then rebuild, but there is a bug in the Royal Gardens that destroying it doesn't lower "loyality" (or at least not as much as it raises) meaning Rogues still don't respond to a 100 gold flag :(.

Hm. I probably didn't worry about it too much with those since they definitely get destroyed more often than not and I don't have to do it myself (Dragons and Witch King spider horde, respectively). There, they serve their buffer purpose...

Yup. But if you start with a Royal Gardens ("Legendary Heroes") it's easily noticable that it's loyality effect doesn't dissipate after being destroyed when rogues refuse to destroy the Elven Lounge/Gambling Hall for even 2000 gold :(.

It's also a pretty severe issue for MP; but we never get patches anyway... and it's not like MFKS MP is popular...

Yeah, I don't mind the different "win" conditions, but it's a good thing that's the only one of its type. I knew my town was going down afterwards so I didn't bother to keep playing :)
