How do you intend to play out your first game of Victoria 2?

Definately gonna start out as Japan, or possibly Mexico. Those were my favourites in Vicky and Ricky.

After that, start up as Sweden and release Norway. Then crush the world under the Fascist Viking heel!

Ottomans, because I've always thought the Anatolia/Balkan Empire, whatever name it may have, and whether or not it be purple in colour, is the prettiest. Initial goals will be not to get killed. Longer term, form a parliamentary democracy and defend Galipoli from those dashed imperialist invaders.

My first game will probably be either USA or Colombia for nationalist reasons. As the states I would like to create the "USNA" as in from Alaska to Mexico and make America a global power. I'll just let the game tug me along politically when I play as the U.S.

As Colombia, I would like re-create Gran Colombia and create a hegemony in South America, and at least be in the Great Powers list. I think I'd like to get the socialists in power, for the sake of "liberating" Latin America from U.S. and European influence, i.e, lots of puppet states.

My second choice would be Prussia, unite Germany and thrash France and Russia some. I'd like to keep a reactionary party in the start and make democratic reforms (while retaining the monarchy) in late game.

Finally, I'd like to play as Britain, probably get a fascist party in the late game, and expand the Empire.

Japan. Not being bothered by the world's superpowers who are looking to America and Europe, it's a good way to get a hang of it. I've played as Japan a lot in HoI3 and in EU3, so I'm used to being a tiny island and I've mastered the art of combat in Asia. A Russo-Japanese war has always scared me, but seeing as historically Japan pulled through, I'm confident that I'll battle the bear.

I will start with Spain... and then Austria. I enjoyed a lot playing such a difficult pool of minorities and backwards "country". And with new automated features, Russia is an interesting option either.

I have changed by original plan for my Spanish game.

Territorially, I plan to have the entire Iberian peninsula, North Africa, and all the Caribbean islands.
Diplomatically, I plan to have Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, USCA, Ecuador in my sphere of influence. I will release the Philippines as a puppet.
Politically, I will strive to be a Proletarian Dictatorship.

I gonna play out as Sweden, I gonna try to embrace the moore fair political systems, like republic.
Ill try to get Finand back and reestablish Sweden to a superpower again. Later on in the game I thiink it would be fun to get moore extreme parties in power. Like communist or Facist.
