How do you group Divisions into higher level formations?

You must have not done it very well, you merge them in the same way there

Actually, you don't, in previous games you just clicked and dragged, as a few of the wise guys here will soon find out, it doesn't work quite that way in HoI 2, you have to be at the correct screen when dragging.

Click, drag and press "g" same as in victoria etc . I know how HoI2 works, I'm a beta. There's also a demo out.

Some people don't use key board shortcuts, I see a lot of games, remembering short cuts is not so easy, also, this is not clear in the manual.
