I have a machine empire that just got finished wiping out an opponent. One of the opponent's planets had a few dumpy robots on it that I would like to get rid of as they appear to be much MUCH less efficient than my machine people. Try as I might, I can find no way to displace or even outright kill off these inferior machines. Am I missing something or has Stellaris taken a huge step backwards in how you can manage populations (specifically robots).

What year is it? I haven't played a machine empire in 2.2, but I figured you could modify the robots on the species tab if you have the necessary tech.

You could but they have less perk points so they'll always be worse and you can't only make your machine pops as the lock in option is broken for robots
