I found this with Finland turning oddly Swedish under my rule.
However, there's a difference between the Nobility and Peasantry. The former could readily adopt the foreign culture of a new ruler, the latter would never in the CKII time frame. Perhaps patching county culture to better reflect this distinction is in order.

yea that's what I was thinkign I can imagine a handufl of frankish lords holding their arab subjects at bay, but I dont think the arabs would suddenly go "ok guys we had a good run, we obviously cant resist anymore lets start speaking frankish and adopt frankish names..while we at it let's bleach out skin."
