How do I run Steam version w/o using Steam client?

I've got issues with Steam for a week (won't update or won't run at all). I've already contacted Steam support, alas, the first solution didn't work.

Is there a way for me to run my CKII without launching the Steam client?

You can try and go to the steam folder: Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common if I remember correctly. There you should find a Crusader Kings 2 Folder, and in it the CK2.exe file that allows you to launch the game without steam working.

Yes, but this launches the vanilla, and I want to play with mods. How do I do it?

Ah, I don't know, I only play vanilla... I think there is also the launcher .exe file ?

Use the ckiigame.exe. Its the launcher exe.
