Hi!

Playing the 1938 game as Germany the evil Russians refuse the Ribbentrop-pact. Instead they declear war on me while I are conquering Poland. But we still have a non-aggresion pact. ?????? So neither of us can attack the other. But we are at war. I have tried using // and / to remove the pact. (// is used in c++). So, how should I do?

Open the savegame with a texteditor and look for a line like this:
(should be pretty much at the beginning of the file)

treaty = {
id = { type = 16384 id = 1 }
type = non_aggression
country = "GER"
country = "SOV"
startdate = {
year = 1935
month = december
day = 29
hour = 0
}
expirydate = {
year = 1948
month = december
day = 29
hour = 0
}
cancel = yes
}

Just deleting these lines should be enough. But remember to keep a backup of your savegame, just in case.

Regards

Save your game as "edit" (or something else, just make sure you are not editing the only verion of your save game). Close the game and edit the new .eug save game file. Find somewhere it says something like this:

Code:
    treaty = {
        id = { type = 16384 id = 11 }
        type = non_aggression
        country = "SOV"
        country = "TUR"
        startdate = {
            year = 1935
            month = december
            day = 29
            hour = 0
            }
        expirydate = {
            year = 1948
            month = december
            day = 29
            hour = 0
            }
        cancel = yes
        }

This is the non-agression pact the USSR has with Turkey, but the german one will look like it. Delete the GER/USSR treaty, save the .eug file and try loading the save game. I think it should take care of it.

Edit: Ach whirling dervish beat me to it. That is what you get from guys that name themselves after magic cards :p
