How do I prevent an alliance?

I am playing Germany at the moment and I didn't sign any pact/agreement with Japan in the events. When I blitz France, I left Holland alone and proceed with invading Briton but something strange happens. When Japan DOW Britain, Holland & USA. So Holland & USA join the allied and DOW me. Holland began to invade me but they got slaught but my victorious army returning from Briton. I mean that's just stupid for holland to DOW me. It's just seeking its own death. :wacko: Also my relationship USA is positive but they still join the allies. I mean my relationship with Nat China is even better than Jap. I have been trying to prevent a war with USA from the beginning but it seems that it can't be prevented unless I don't attack Poland. Do anyone know how I can prevent this stupid alliance from happenning? Thx

Your only chance is to influence them to +200 relation points, then try like mad to ally with them (worked for me) before the Japs DOW them. I managed to get them into my alliance the same day the last Allies forces in the British isles surrendered, quite realistic.

I think there should be an event which trigger the USA join the Allies instead of just join them because the Japs attack them. I mean I purposely not sign any treaty/pact in the 2 events with the Japs because I don't wanna DOW USA. Then what's the point of the events. Historically the US didn't DOW Ger, it is the Ger who DOW USA because they want the Jap to DOW on USSR.
I think there should be some change in the events.
