How do I log in into my forum account?

This is probably the weirdest problem I had on the forums.
From what I noticed, the new (and according to some, improved) forum uses e-mails as logins. The problem is, that my main forum account never used that option. I always had the 'user name + password' combination.

The second problem is that this account (which I created for the exactly same reason I am using it now - problems with logging in into my main account) uses the same email address used in validating my main forum account.

To repeat the question - how do I log in into my main account?

How could we possibly tell what's wrong with your main account when you tell us nothing about it.
