How do i keep China out of Brazil and the Caribbean?

I've seen Georgia get around in quite a few games....

Most Notably conquering brittany and even getting to Orleans... seeing them there for 200 years was funny, till in a peace treaty russia got them... and held them till the end...

Also seen Georgia conquer Naples, 3 provinces of Aragon, 1 province of Eire, and 3 provinces of Scotland (please not all these happened in the same game)...

Always fun to alternative history pop up

When I play England NO ONE gets into Eire but ME! LOL!! I usually attack them right after I have defeated and vassalized Scotland. They are easy to take and control.

However, every time I play Portugal I see 4 to 5 nations in there. Hell I see wierd nations holding English territory.

This last game Eire had:
France
Norway
Sweden
England
the Papal States.

However, England had:
The Ottoman Empire in Wales
Russia controling three provinces
The Puritans
Scotland in Northumberland
France holding the Highlands.

Yeah, I find it wierd and a bit annoying to discover the Chinese in South America. Bad enough when they are on the Pacific side, but finding them controlling Carribean and Atlantic provinces by the time my Portugese explorers go over really chaps my hide! LOL

For Georgia it is... although they did get Iceland as part of a peace treaty once... no idea why I was playing Japan, and say that Georgia won it in a peace treaty...

And England does occasionally get some invadors... tho in most of my games they pretty much keep others out... most memorable was Wales revolting, and ended up in an Alliance with Scotland and Sweden vs. England and Burgundy (who kept on ticking along) and watched england eventually die to those 3...

was nice to see wales survive more then a few turns...

At least the Chinese in the Carribbean has some historical basis. What really drives me nuts is some of the silly things that happen in Europe -- Austrians control Narvik, Poland controls Emelia, Ak-Konlyu controls Croatia and so on

They're all over the Caribbean in my GC...can't create colonies or TPs worth a damn, but they can really beat the daylights out of indiegnous folks while Euro-flotsam washes up. Way to take one for the team, guys!

Well I know Zheng get around in EU2. But I know of no Chinese to have reached the carribean. In fact, the only American exploration the Chinese did (which is still hotly debated) was some minor landings in California.
