How do I join league war after it started?

I'm playing as Denmark and both me and my ally Poland has joined the same side in the leagues, Poland called me into a war he has started. Then the league wars start and since both me and Poland are in another war against a member from the other side non of us gets called into the league war.

But after we win our war and it ends Poland asap joins the league war, how do I do the same? Been looking everywhere but I cant find a way to do it, but it must be possible since Poland did it? And I checked him before our war ended so I know he wasn't in the league war before that. And he is not allied to the leader of our side so It cant be a normal non league call to arms?

I dont know, maybe poland join the side with fews greats powers, and you cannot since you are not a GP or there is no anymore place for one more ?

I have all the DLCs, I'm a GP but can't join that way since I have a truce with some of the non GP countries involved after the war my ally Poland started before the league war.
