When I hit f12 to get the command line, I type the command exactly how it is written in the list. first off all of the characters don't show up(like the =), and when I enter it I get an unknown command response. What am I doing wrong?:unsure:

Events are the things that happen to you during a game, e.g. if you play PORtugal you get some time at the start of the 1419 Grand Campaign the event about:
"The Social Revolution of João I" where you can make a choice who to support. The normal FtG game has - compared to e.g. the AGCEEP mod - relatively few events.
