How do I get the option to Fabricate a claim on my liege?

Currently I am a Doux who is ridiculously powerful, I wanna get a claim on the ERE and I can pretty much smash the Emperor, but I need to somehow get a claim on the throne.....


How could i do this?

also England is a Theocracy now......lol

I think first you have to plot to get a claim, which is usually one of the plots available.

Plot to fabricate the title. To do that you have to own any of the de jure land of that title, which I assume - since this is the Byzantine Empire we're talking about - that you do.
