I have tried to fabricate a new faction, and it all worked fine... But I could not see where I gain others to join my faction, like the way I can get them to join a plot?
How do I do that? It seems stupid to be the only one in a faction... And can I also get courtiers and other without title to join me?
Thanks...

Don't know how to get people interested in your faction, but they drop in and out automaticly. And only landed lords can join factions, wouldn't make much sense for a poor courtier to join a full scale revolt for independence

I think the best way to gain support is to send your Spymaster to 'Scheme'. He'll gather support for you.

The most important part is making sure people like you (ie: the faction leader) more than the target of the faction, so sending out your chancelor to improve relations with you and sabotage relations with the target is really useful.

Ok, so to summon up - You can only get landed lords to join your faction, and the only way to influence them, is to send your spymaster to scheme!?

Is there any other "logic" in how the lords join or leave my faction? Is opinions important here?

IIRC you can't send your spymaster outside your realm. And inside your realm, he'll only prevent vassals from creating/joining factions

I think this was changed in 1.07b

Had guys with -100 joining my faction. opinions doesn't seem to matter

And just figured out that spymasters can go outside of borders, but they don't do shit out there
