ke? just dont install the 1.1 "patch" and you have your lovely exp system back. You have what you paid for -- the "enchancement" is a bonus...

This should be noted for all the "complainers" in this forum. You want XP back, run DD 1.0 without the 1.1 patch. Simple.
2 genius at work... for your information DD 1.0
has at least 4 confirmed CTD bugs
How people miss a 570+ post topic or even miss the sticky topic about the "changes" in 1.1 is something I fail to understand...

BTW I think, personally, Johan was trying to get round the experinece exploits in HOI2. How meany people read about the "Gamey" tactic of TacBombing a poor peasant to get Level 7+ air commanders. I did it, until I got tired of it. Obviously it's a WAD that most people are unhappy with.
I know this is your "personal" opinion, but even then... I doubt Johan was personally evolved any changes introduced in 1.1 DD... on EUIII coding, now that’s another matter
About the "Gamey" part of your post...
I think I'm free to be
"gamey" with my game as much as I want; not only I don't think the "AI" will be bothered much, but also the land CO being bombed will gain as much xp as my bomber CO (or the other way around if you like)

Which EU laws?
You have no duty to give your customers a refund just because they don't like the product, only if it's broken or was not sold as advertised. This is not true for Doomsday.
As you stated above, they are forced to refund if the product doesn't work as advertised.
Btw, the demo is an advertisement (Download vers.)...
The demo, DD 1.0, as stated above, has at least 4 CTD bugs admitted by Paradox, so DD "out of the box" doesn't work... if we wanted to be picky, like any good lawyer, we could
Both DD 1.0 and the manual of the game have the "old" xp system...
1.1 introduced an undocumented feature ...
Should I continue ?
No need, again, a lawyer in any market economy would have no trouble handling this...
So, Fredrik (Paradox Marketing), has not only played a good PR "card" (post), but also opted by the most decent and probably less costly option for all
& me... well, as stated on another topic; my game is uninstalled since 2 days after 1.1 release, but...
I'm more patient then SonofWinter and with 5+ years of satisfied Paradox customer I know (and hope) they will ratify this as always and asap.
