I am currently working on fixing up vichy-like regimes for belgium and netherlands when germany overruns them.

Since there is no 'surrender' event command, what I am trying to achieve is:

1. Disarm the defeated country by annexing it to germany when the continental portion is overrun.

2. Revive it with a pro-axis but _not_ puppet government, as the germans should not get the use of the armed forces, nor free colonies, using 'independence'

3. use type = control which = GER to give germany the benefit of the european provinces.

What happens at the moment--either the belgians fighting on forever, or using the puppet command to give their 30 or so divisions to the germans--just plain wrong.

And since the AI never puppets these two countries when it can, it makes things really weird.

I am still testing this, but in principle I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Will post more later. I can see right off the bat that it might cause interesting side effects.

Got about ten mods in progress at the moment; I guess I should try to complete one at this point!
