How did I become tributary of county of Agen ??

I noticed that suddenly that my Empire of Scandinavia suddelny said Agen. Checked income and paying 600+ to Agen. A single county which is a vassal of a vassal of a vassal. Haven't had any wars so how did that happen? Inherit from my viceroys or something?

Seems to be a bug related to how tributaries are now dealt with since you inherited his tributary status. You can declare war to free yourself.

If the tributary is inherited by someone of greater rank than he is i think the tributary status should be ended.

You shouldn't be able to become a tributary of your own vassals at all surely?
