I am loving this game so far!
Only having a few issues!
How come i cant fast forward time? It means waiting for money is so long!

Alongside this is there a way to make more money?
I started on the 31/4/17 and im currently at 1/10/2020
im sitting at $10,925 and making +3,849

is there a way to speed this up? Struggling to recover whenever i upgrade a town.

Any Tips?

I've seen people say it's down to the power of the XB1 and that it won't be able to cope at x2 or x3 speeds but I'm calling BS on that. Pretty sure they could do it and even if that was the case I'm sure there'd be a way around it.

As for your income, try not to overdo it with the services and raise your taxes as soon as you can. I currently have mine set at 13% and bringing in over $15,000 every cycle.

Do you guys think they will implement this into the game in a future patch? I really hope so as it is sometimes quite boring watching money slowly increase. If not I hope there will be a patch in the future for project Scorpio which will allow fast forward. Overall, without fast forward and Mods+DLC, people will get bored of it quite quickly

I really hope so, normal speed is very boring and I can't see myself replaying it much once I've got the achievements. It definitely needs faster speeds. Mods would be nice but I'm not too bothered about them, as for DLC, it'd be nice to get the same that PC has.

I guess the hardest part was tweaking everything, that even a 250k city runs without terrible framerate drops. Also they did a really great job mapping everything for the controller.

This is actually (as has been speculated) down to the power of the XB1. It's a powerful console, there is no doubt about that, but it's actually not capable of running the game at faster speeds. It was tested heavily in the development process but the result was never acceptable with the game crashing or slowing to a crawl. As such, the decision was made to leave it out.

i can understand performance problems i know the game must take alot to run but its a key feature of the game and without it the game can become boring due to the 3 hour wait to fill up any new zoning ??

I wouldn't care if you just did frame skips with old timey squiggly lines like a vcr to show fast forwarding. My concern isn't the game looking pretty while FFWD, it's time out of my life for playing a game. I have to believe there must be some way to implement this if you take the smooth graphics out of the equation and people would accept it in order to remove horrendous time sinks.

This would be perfect anything at all to speed up time i don't think anyone would care too much about playing the game whilst speeding as a compromise, so it would just be simulating the game ahead and we would just stop the speed to be able to play again and like what they said squiggly lines anything show me some funny cat videos i don't think we care this is kinda the backbone of the game and is very tedious without it....

Just want to agree with those that said the game doesn't need to perform at 2x or 3x. Lower all the details so we can see the menu and maybe new buildings appearing in our line of sight and that'd be fine. No cars or people, lights (even remove the night day cycle during that time). Heck, make the camera non movable during fast forward.

At first I really thought the no speed up was rally gonna kill the game for me. I'd say it's help me. I'm in year 2033 112k pop and growing sitting on 4.4 mil in cash income fluxs hard at times. It normally tops out around 149k but sometimes does go negative for a short time. Not sure what the cause is. Without the speed up I find myself more focused and involved in my city and I'm loving the hell out of it. Yea it takes a while to see results but you can really fine tune the city. It's been quite enjoyful. Just want to say thanks to paradox for bringing such a great game over the the one. My poor old laptop can't handle these great games. Can't wait to see more on the future hoping something like EU

I just want to add something, im not bashing or anything, speeding up isn't really an issue for me, i love watching my city florish naturally, but there saying its down to the xbox one why they can't fast forward right? PES 2017 has better graphics then the xbox one edition of CS and yet in coach mode you can fast forward.
As i said im not bashing, maybe theres a reason behind it but when you think of PES 2017 graphics and that they can fast forward without any issue.
