How come Rights of Man and the content pack is cheaper than the collection?

Normally the collection is a little cheaper than purchasing the expansion and content pack(s) separately. For RoM it's the same normally. But during the current sale it's 0.76€ cheaper to purchase them separately due to the collection being less discounted than the separate items.

This seems like a bug.

This was actually an unintentional discount which is why it was incorrect ><. It wasn't supposed to be in the sale and this has now been rectified. Good catch .

Seems like I was lucky then. (Got it yesterday while it was on sale.)
By the way the icon won't show up in owned items, but I assume that's the already known bug. But wanted to say it in case you thought the bug had been fixed.

How do you mean it doesn't show up? I see it under your Owned Items (in my backend) with both icon and cover art. Did you try the Sync button?

Strange. And yes, I did try the sync button. Multiple times. Both yesterday and today. And it didn't show up. Though it is there now.

You needed to register your game within a month of the game releasing; that was over 3 years before you registered on these fora. So you aren't eligible to get it even if you did preorder the game.

I am just saying in the owned items page actually the link for the actual icon in there is wrong, I got the icon just fine in the forums as you can see.

I got the icon as soon as I bought the DLC (early november I think) and synced, I wasn't even playing EU IV 3 years back, so I guess anyone who will buy the content will have the icon, its just the image missing from the owned items page that is missing, nothing major, just wanted to point it out since I saw an opportunity with your thread.

Not just any DLC, the Pre-Order Pack actually. It's even on sale right now, I got it full price since I bought it early november but yep, that is correct.

Because you don't own the preorder DLC. You "merely" pre ordered and hence can't get it this way, since this is only for hte people who purchased the pre order pack.

(In steam you are listed as having the individual DLC which came with the pre order, but it doesn't register you actually pre ordered so it tells you that you don't own the pre order pack---despite owning all content in it.)

Well, it's getting frustrating to still not have all my old forums icons back... especially when i see that people who "merely" bought the preorder pack get the icon when those who actually preordered the game...

Pretty sure they aren't getting it back, since at least initially you could only get the icon from registering the game within 1 month of release and getting th pre order DLC didn't give any icon---and I really doubt that changed before the migration so instead of getting it back they are getting it for the first time.

Though I really wonder why some of us preorderers got it back long ago, while others haven't got it back yet.

I have an idea what it might be, but I of course don't know if it's correct.
IIRC you both got a steam key for the game and a steam key for the preorder boni when you pre ordered. Don't think you got a separate key for the things from the digital extreme edition (you got the digital extreme too right?), but might be wrong there. But pretty sure that you got a separate key for the preorder boni, since that'd be the only way Steam would know you'd pre ordered. Plus IIRC I did plug a pre order code in. If so then steam presumably didn't issue a preorder key when pre ordering from steam, since it knew you had pre ordered and hence just allocated the boni automatically.

If so then it might be that pre order boni key which is the reason that some of us have got the pre order icon back. Again I don't know and the theory would be busted if somebody who preordered through steam has the icon, but at the moment it seems likely. And if true it would provide a logical explanation for why some people got it back and others didn't.
