As a Chinese I'm happy to see people are making puns instead of being racists. I had a few laughs myself. XD
China was in Tang dynasty (ended at year 907) when game starts and in Ming when game ends.
So:
A Taste of Tang
Mingy Empire (In fact Ming died of poverty of its government, too much bureaucratic corruption)
Then the last startpoint, Mongol China...Yuan DynastyMings aren't wouldn't even be playable at the latest start date... xD
I've got a couple puns, but they're both terrible, even by bad pun standardsThen the last startpoint, Mongol China...Yuan Dynasty
This is a hard one to pun....

No. The Sikh religion did not exist during this time period. Singh is a distinctly Sikh name. They missed an opportunity to call Rajas of India "Crusader Singhs".
No it isn't. Singh was a Rajput name before we started using it. It was a royal name used by the Rajput warrior class, and Guru Gobind Singh gave it to everyone in order to make all Sikhs equal and level the caste system.No. The Sikh religion did not exist during this time period. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Large Indian community where I live, but I've never met a Singh who wasn't Sikh.No it isn't. Singh was a Rajput name before we started using it. All Sikh men are called Singh, but probably most Singhs are not Sikhs. First name is usually a better way to tell religious affiliation.
One Italian merchant and suddenly Crusader Kings 2: Globalisation Edition?Because Muslims and Christians have no place in China... wait. The whole Old World was interconnected. And there were Christians and Muslims in China too, especially during this era.
Obviously the music DLC would be called Songs of the Song
I don't think as many Hindu Rajputs moved to the USA as Sikhs did. In India though there's a pretty good chance that someone with the name "Singh" is a Hindu. First names are usually better indicators, modern Sikh names tend to be composed of a small number of very common elements like 'inder', 'preet', 'jeet', 'Gur', 'deep' etc, whereas Rajasthani names are more diverse. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I wouldn't call it anything, on account of China not belonging in a game primarily centered around the Christian and Muslim worlds of 769-1453, and on account of the fact that CK2 is already badly strained with the excess amount of land and content added since launch.
One Italian merchant and suddenly Crusader Kings 2: Globalisation Edition?
It was sarcasm, though I don't believe that ties between China and Europe were sufficiently strong during this time period to warrant the two appearing in the same game. I would much prefer to see China in its own game.Eh... you know there was more connections than Marco Polo? There was even a Christian Chinese trevelling to Europe... Christianity was a part of medieval China.
Do you really think Marco Polo was the only connection?
And how can anyone tell you were being sarcastic? You should know well by now that the inclusion of China in CK2 is an extremely vitriolic topic on this forum, with many of the opposition party truly and seriously believing in such a stance. It was sarcasm...
Direct ties, no. But if there's no indirect impact, then we wouldn't even be having this Reaper's Due expansion... bubonic plague originated from China, after all....though I don't believe that ties between China and Europe were sufficiently strong during this time period to warrant the two appearing in the same game.
Ha. Never gonna happen under PDS.I would much prefer to see China in its own game.
#JeSuisSengokuHa. Never gonna happen under PDS.
Western baka gaijins love their Japanese samuari and ninja of the Sengoku Jidai. How many Three Kingdoms games have major Western devs published?#JeSuisSengoku
Not of import whatsoever as it would have flopped either way.Western baka gaijins love their Japanese samuari and ninja of the Sengoku Jidai. How many Three Kingdoms games have major Western devs published?
