How can you copy and paste a code into the Victoria II console?

What code would be long enough that you want to copy-paste it? I'm not sure it's even possible without using some external program that creates a clipboard across applications.

You could just hit the up arrow after typing in the code and it will give you the same code back. Let's say you are changing who owns a province. "changeowner BEL 1400" then press the up arrow on your keyboard and you will get back "changeowner BEL 1400" then just get rid of the "1400" and you can type a new province in without typing "changeowner".
