Does anyone know if there's a way to create an exclusive religion? I need a religion which no other religion in the game will consider marrying into.
My problem is that I want to create an isolated cult consisting of people who are initiated into the land by their cult leader (King) via a ritualistic baptism (using "demand conversion", basically). After the baptism, "followers" of the cult are granted a county and, hence, become independent as far as deciding who they want to marry is concerned. So when a count's Zunist wife dies, if there are no more eligible female Zunists in the Kingdom, he will rush out and marry the nearest pagan from some other religion.
This is no good and is worthy of the death penalty in our realm. Basically, I'm trying to control who gets into our land and who doesn't and I'm trying to use this once dead religion (Zunism) and my "baptisms" to achieve that. However, because the AI doesn't discriminate between the pagan religions when marrying, it's not working.
I've had a quick look into the CKII religion scripting and that doesn't seem to help. You basically have Muslim, Christians and Pagan Religious Groups and the AI will happily marry within each broad group. So, yeah, I could create my own religion but it will still have to be classed under one of the three and wouldn't be exclusive.
Have I missed something in the mod-scripting capabilities of CKII? Is there any way to achieve what I want to do?
