In patch 1.2, Paradox had to fix armies who were performing a shattered retreat from looting every enemy province they retreat through.
Their fix was that you cannot loot if you arrive in a province while also moving to another province. It works, retreating armies no longer loot.
But it means that if you are sending in a looting party, then you have to move 1 province at a time, even though it makes no difference in terms of getting from 1 province to another, it is a huge pain in the butt. for example, if I want to loot Spain, I cannot just set my army to march from Galicia to Granada. I have to march them from Galicia to Leon. Once they arrive, they loot, then I have to send them to the neighbouring province, then to the next. If they were to march straight to Granada, they wouldn't be looting any of these places.
Addtionally, the conditions Pornek posted are correct.
I have a few posts in the bug reports section to make.
